A cold day run
May not be fun,
But you can bet
There's little sweat.

The muscles taut -
The jogging snot -
The pleasured pain -
From loss, the gain.

For marathons to end in smiles,
You've got to run The Ugly Miles.
Accept each winter's angry face,
And run towards the sheltered space.
